Syracuse, NY - The men took 2 losses this weekend against the Fulton-Montgomery Raiders and the Herkimer Generals. They will enter the winter break 2-9 overall and 1-6 in conference play.
Hosting the Raiders, the Lazers were defeated 108-94 on Saturday. Trailing by 32 points at the half, the men made a run to eventually take only a 14-point loss after trailing by as much as 40 points.
LaMar Matthews contributed 19 for the Lazers alongside Alex Pagen's 17 going 5-14 from the arc.
The men were back at it on Sunday traveling to Herkimer. The Lazers gave the Generals a close game with several lead changes until falling flat midway through the second half and a Herkimer scoring run resulting in a 63-92 defeat. Matthews tallied 22 points and
Seth Myles added 17.
The Lazers will return on Wednesday, January 17th at 7pm in Canandaigua, NY to take on the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers.
