Corning, NY - Volleyball traveled to Corning Community College Tuesday night for a conference matchup against the Red Barons. The match went to five sets and Onondaga came all the way back falling the first two and bringing their record to .500.
The Lazers fell just shy in the first half of the match falling 22-25 and 23-25. Taking the third and fourth back, the teams were forced into a fifth taking a 15-9 victory for the win.Â
"The women's volleyball team is learning to finish strong despite their obstacles, and last night's game against Corning is evidence of this. I am very excited for the team because they are more and more mentally prepared and physically ready to face their next opponents," says head coach, Sarah Bjork.
The Lazers will travel to Rochester this weekend for the Monroe Regional Pod where they'll take on the Finger Lakes Lakers at 12pm and the Tribunes at 2pm.
