Lazers fall in Season Opener

Syracuse, NY- The Lazers fell 2-3 in a close matchup with Mohawk Valley to start the 2022 season. 

Mohawk Valley got on the board first with a goal in the 32nd minute. The Lazers answered with a goal from Emma Nelson (Assisted by Madison Pelton) in the 44th minute to tie the game up going into halftime. The Hawks scored the next two goals of the game before the Lazers got back on the board in the 77th minute with Madison Pelton finding Liana Mostrianska for a goal. In the end the Lazers ran out of time and took a 2-3 loss. 

The Lazers will be back in action this Saturday (9/3) as they host Tompkins Cortland at 1:00pm
