Syracuse, NY- The Lazers hosted the National Championship Quarterfinals on Saturday with a 2nd matchup against Nassau. The teams battled throughout the first half with the Lazers going into halftime with a 5-4 lead. The Lions used a strong 3rd quarter to propel themselves to victory. The Lazers fought hard in the 4th quarter, but ultimately came up short 7-8.
Logan Lemelbaum held the Lions to 8 total goals and had 18 saves on the day.
Christopher Masker recovered 7 groundballs and had 2 caused turnovers.
Damon Doxtator and
Teharonhiorens McComber led the Lazers with 2 goals a piece.
The Lazers finish the season with a 10-3 record and added a Region III Championship.
