Syracuse, NY - The Lazers faced their first regular season double header against the Herkimer Generals on their home field Thursday evening. The Lazers suffered two losses against the Generals with final scores of 10-2 and 12-4.
Trista DeLong started and finished on the mound in game one finishing with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk.
Sophia D'Arcangelis and
Madison Henry both contributed a hit and an RBI each on offense, D'Arcangelis with an in-the-park homerun and Henry with a triple.
In game two, DeLong added 3 more strikeouts on the night finishing with an overall 10. D'Arcangelis and Henry led the offense each contributing another base hit.
Emma Kelly put up a base hit in game two as well.
The Lazers will face Jefferson Community College in their next home contest on Wednesday, April 20th with 3:00pm and 5:30pm starts.
