The Lazers were on the road for a back to back this weekend with games against Finger Lakes and Genesee. The Lazers came out on top in their matchup against the Lakers on Saturday. Sunday, they dropped a close contest to the Tigers.
On Saturday Finger Lakes got on the board early with a goal in the 4th minute of the contest. The Lazers answered shortly after when
Liana Mostrianska gave their Lazers their first goal of the contest. After the half,
Madison Pelton found
Lynnae Russell for a goal in the 46th minute to give the Lazers the lead. The goal proved enough as the Lazers won the contest 2-1.
Sunday, it was a defensive battle against the Tigers. The Lazers lost 0-1 with the only goal of the game coming from the Tigers in the 47th minute.
Bryn Whitman had a great game for the Lazers totaling 13 saves on the day.
The Lazers return home when they face off against ESF in the battle for the Queen of the Hill on Wednesday (10/5). The game starts at 5:00pm.
