Syracuse, NY - Men's basketball coasts into the winter break with a strong win against Mohawk Valley bringing them to 12-1. The men had a dominant showing on the court of the SRC Arena for the last time before the new year.
The Lazers battled in the first half with a strong finish entering the half 47-32. They came out in the second half hot outscoring the Hawks 62-38 for a final score of 109-70, bringing their team average to 96.7 points per game.
Latyce Faison led the Lazers with 30 points.
Isaiah Warmack put up 21,
Shambdo Caldwell contributed 16 points and 9 rebounds, and
Jakhi Lukas had his fifth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. He also added 7 steals during the contest
The men will return back to the court Wednesday, January 19th at 7:30pm as they travel to Finger Lakes Community College and look to continue their winning streak.
