Syracuse, NY- The Lazers fought hard in a battle with Bryant & Stratton (Syracuse) but came up short late and were defeated 64-71.
The Lazers trailed for most of the first half with a few starters getting into foul trouble, but only went into halftime down 27-36. Late in the third quarter the Lazers began their comeback and eventually took a brief lead. Bryant & Stratton went on a run of their own late in the fourth to take back the lead and push the game out of reach.
Shona Jackson led the Lazers in scoring with 12 points and
Cassidy Kelly added 10 points and 9 rebounds.
The Lazers will look to rebound on Saturday as they take on SUNY Sullivan at 1:00pm in the Allyn Hall Gym.
