The Onondaga (NY) Lazers secured its third consecutive NJCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship, and 12th overall in program history with a thrilling overtime victory over top-seeded Nassau (NY) in Batavia, NY on Sunday. The Lazers forced overtime with a late regulation goal and Percy Booth's overtime winner came with 17 seconds to play in the extra session to lead the Lazers back to the top of the NJCAA Lacrosse world.
The two teams have now combined for a total of 33 championships between the storied NJCAA programs. Onondaga's victory is the second consecutive championship over Nassau after the Lazers topped the Lions 11-9 in 2018.
