The Onondaga
Lazers lost four games to Finger Lakes over the weekend. The Lazers lost Saturday's game one, 2-0 and game two, 7-0. Onondaga lost game one on Sunday, 5-1 and game two 5-4 in 13 innings. Onondaga moves to 4-10 on the season and 3-5 in conference play.
Saturday
Game 1 -
The Lazers struggled to generated runs on Saturday as they recorded only four hits while striking out 15 times. Jesse Kabat,
Maxx Kies,
Joe Mallaro, and
Parker Wing all recorded a hit on the day.
Connor Vandreason pitched seven strong innings giving up five hits, striking out three, walked two while only giving up one ern run. Vandreason is now 1-3 on the year.
Game 2 -
Game two showed more of the same struggles. The Lazers did not score and picked up five hits. Jordan Tully-Marcano had a strong day at the plate, going 2 for 2 and recording a walk. Jeremy Rosado, Parker Wing, and
Andrew O'Connor all recorded a hit on the day.
Maxx Kies was credited with the loss. Kies gave up four earn runs on six hits in five innings of play.
Sunday
Game 1
The Lazers experienced more of the same struggles as they traveled to Finger Lakes on Sunday. Onondaga was held to one run on two hits and six walks.
Jordan Goldman and
Ty Abell each had a hit respectively.
Game 2
The Lazers bats finally got going as they scored four runs on ten hits.
Jesse Kabat led the Lazers with four hits and two RBI's.
Michael Jenkins and
Justin Bristol each register a multi-hit game.
