The Onondaga Lazers Baseball team swept Jamestown in a doubleheader on Saturday, 4-1 in game one, and 11-1 in five innings in game two. With the two wins, Onondaga moves to 8-19 overall this year.
In game one, Onondaga scored their four runs on seven hits and one error, including RBI doubles by
Antonio Nesci-Cruz in the third inning,
Ty Abell in the fourth inning, and
Maxx Kies in the fifth inning, as well as an RBI triple by
Jeremy Rosado in the fourth inning.
Andrew O'Connor, the starting pitcher, earned the win. Game two was an explosive offensive performance by the Lazers, scoring their 11 runs on nine hits and five errors.
Maxx Kies picked up the complete game win.Â
Onondaga plays Jamestown in a doubleheader at home again on Sunday, April 28th at 1:00PM and 3:30 PM.
