The Onondaga Lazers split with Corning on Thursday. The Lazers won game one, 4-3 and lost game two, 9-5. With the losses Onondaga moves to 5-13 on the season and 4-8 in conference play.
Game 1 -
The Lazers scored four runs on six hits.Ty Abell and
Joe Mallaro lead the team with two hits respectively while each scoring a run.
Maxx Kies recorded a team high two RBI's.
Connor Vandreason pitched seven strong innings giving up three runs on two hits while issuing two walks.
Game 2 -
Onondaga scored five runs on seven hits while walking twice. Joe Mallaro lead the way with two hits, two runs scored and an RBI. Maxx Kies had another strong game going 2 for 3 at the plate.
