The Onondaga Lazers spilt their opening series with Jefferson Tuesday night. Jefferson won the first game 3-2 while Onondaga took the second game 10-3. With the spilt, Onondaga moves to 1-1 on the season.
Game 1- Onondaga 2, Jefferson 3
The Lazers were able to score two runs on five hits. Jordan Tully-Marcano lead the way with two hits and a run scored. Jordan Goldman, Jeremy Rosado and Maxx Kies each recorded a hit on the day.
Connor Vandreason pitched six strong innings giving up six hits, five strikeouts, no walks while allowing only one earn run.
Game 2- Onondaga 10, Jefferson 3
Onondaga scored ten runs on five hits while walking eight times. Jordan Goldman lead the way with two hits, two RBI's and a run scored. Jordan Tully-Marcano, Parker Wing, Cole Cotton each recorded a hit on the day.
Maxx Kies pitched six strong innings giving up five hits, ten strikeouts, issued three walks while allowing only one earn run.
