Onondaga Softball Loses in Extra Innings

The Onondaga Softball team lost to Iowa Lakes CC in extra innings, 9-8 on Saturday. With the win, Onondaga moves to 1-2 on the season.

The Lazers were able to score seven runs on six hits and recorded five walks. Jazzmine Powless and Dana Egan each recorded a hit in four plate appearances while driving in two run a piece. Gina Meyers and Delanie Alberici each had a hit to extend their hit streak to four games.

Pitcher, Lily Russo went six innings giving up six hits and four earned runs. Russo struck out two while issuing three walks.
