The fifth raked Onondaga women's basketball team defeated Corning, 66-65 on Saturday. With the win, Onondaga moves to 16-5 overall and 13-0 in Regional play.

Sydni Eure led the way for the Lazers, scoring a team high 26 points while adding 11 rebounds against the Red Barrons. Teammates Namir Davis and Karleigh Wucher gave the Lazers strong minutes. Davis finished with 8 points while shooting 4 of 4 from the field. Wucher added 7 points while recording a team high 13 rebounds. 
 
The Lazers return home to take on SUNY Broome, Wednesday, February 6 at 5:00pm.
