Box Score For the second game in a row, the Onondaga Community College women's basketball team hit the century mark as they defeated visiting SUNY Broome 109-24 at Allyn Hall on Thursday evening.

After jumping out to a 34-8 lead at the end of the first quarter, the Lazers held Broome scoreless in the second period on its way to an insurmountable 58-8 lead at halftime. The 109 points scored represented the high mark for the season for Onondaga as they shot 48% from the field for the game while connecting on a season best ten 3-pointers. With the win the Lazers improve to 19-5 (7-1) and will take on Jefferson Community College in a 1pm tilt at home on Saturday, February 10.

Once again, Onondaga had every player enter the scoring column with five players in double figures.Â
Sydni Eure (East Syracuse-Minoa) tied her career high with 27 points while
Michaela Whiteman (G. Ray Bodley – Fulton) chipped in with 17 – followed by Samantha Britton (Kenmore West – Buffalo) (13),
Shannon Foehl (Skaneateles) (11), and
Danielle Yates (East Syracuse-Minoa) (11).Â
Rachel Scalisi (Fabius-Pompey) collected 10 rebounds, and Foehl dished out 7 of the 29 assists that the Lazers had for the game.
