The Onondaga Women's Soccer team defeated Cayuga Community College on Monday with a score of 8-0. With the win, the Lazers move to 6-5-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the MSAC and 5-0-1 Regional play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lakers took a 2-0 lead halfway through the first half.
• Caitlin Barry scored her fourth goal of the season with assists coming from Lindsay Morelli and Sabrina Verdoliva.
• Caitlin Barry put the Lazers ahead 3-0 with her goal in the 30^th minute.
• The Lazers took a 3-0 lead into the half.
• The Lazers dominated the second half.
• Mackenzie Lee (Sabrina Verdoliva), Augustine Wait (Leah Pawlewicz), Mackenzie Lee (Lindsay Morelli , Sabrina Verdoliva) and Sabrina Verdoliva scored four goals in the second half.
• The Lazers final goal of the match came off the foot of Sabrina Verdoliva in the 87 minute. Claire Maring assisted the Verdoliva goal.

 
Onondaga's next game will be Wednesday when they return home to face Mohawk Valley at 4:00 p.m.
