Syracuse, N.Y. – The Onondaga Community College women's lacrosse team advanced to the NJCAA Region III championship game with a 17-2 win over Erie Community College Saturday afternoon at David W. Murphy Field. Also with the win, the Lazers automatically advance to the NJCAA Women's Lacrosse National Championships May 14-May 15 at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY.
Freshman midfielder Madison Pritchard (5-1) and sophomore attacker Cheyenne Burnam (4-2) each tallied six points, while sophomore Jordan Osborne (3-1) and freshman Brigid Regin (2-2) added four points each to lead the Onondaga offense.
Mia Pascuzzi and Kristen Sedar both allowed one goal and registered seven saves each for Onondaga on the afternoon. The Lazers defense has held the opposition under ten goals for the 12th time this year in 13 attempts.

The second-ranked Lazers (12-2) battle first-ranked Monroe Community College in today's NJCAA Region III Championship game at 1 p.m. at David W. Murphy Field. The Tribunes beat Onondaga 14-7 back on April 9th.
