Syracuse, N.Y. – LeRoy Halftown recorded 11 points on six goals and five assists to lead the Onondaga Community College men's lacrosse team to a 33-5 victory over Jefferson Community College Wednesday afternoon at David W. Murphy field.
The Lazers jumped out to an early 10-0 lead just 10 minutes in and took a 21-4 halftime lead. Onondaga then outscored the Cannoneers 12-1 over the final two quarters to win in convincing fashion.
Daniel Ohrem notched eight points on four goals and four assists while Cam Horn added six points of his own on five goals and one helper.
Teiowison'tion (Brine) Rice, Matthew Bennett and Larson Sundown each tallied five points for the Lazers.
Kyle Killen and Josh Yelvington both netted two goals while Jordan Goddard, Luke Fairman, Jack Centore, Thomas Koster, Seth Ferguson, Alexander Waelder, Joseph Rosaschi and Thakwirare Cross each found the nylon once.
Kroydon Arnold, Jacob White and Jacob Anderson all contributed one assist on the afternoon.
Goalies Holden McDonald, James Schnepf and Doug Jamieson combined to hold Jefferson to five goals.
The Lazers (5-1) return to action on Saturday as they host Tompkins Cortland Community College starting at 1p.m.
