Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 The Onondaga volleyball team had another outstanding day of NJCAA Region III POD play on Saturday, sweeping 4 matches at the event hosted by Jefferson Community College.  The Lazers began the day with what would prove to be their toughest test, against SUNY Adirondack.  The Timberwolves started very well, downing the Lazers, 25-9 in the opening game.  The Lazers answered with a 25-21 win in game 2, before Adirondack moved ahead again with a 25-10 win in game 3.  Onondaga again squared the match with a 25-23 win in game 4, and pulled out the match with a 15-6 win in the 5th and deciding game.

The Lazers followed up on the exciting win over Adirondack with three straight 3-0 sweeps.  They defeated Hudson Valley Community College, 25-11 25-18 25-7, North Country Community College, 25-14 25-13 25-12, and Columbia-Greene Community College 25-9 25-7 25-11.  Onondaga has now won 8 consecutive matches, and has swept the last two POD events.  The Lazers are now 15-10 on the season, and 11-4 in Region III POD play.

The Lazers return to the court on Wednesday evening when they travel to Corning Community College for a 6:00 pm Mid-State Athletic Conference match.  Next weekend, Onondaga will play host to the annual Cara Bryant Memorial Volleyball Tournament.
