The nationally-ranked Onondaga Community College women's basketball team won its ninth straight game on Saturday as the Lazers continued to steam roll through their Mid-State Athletic Conference schedule with a 66-45 win over Corning Community College in Corning.

With the decision, the No. 4 Lazers improve to 19-4 overall and remain unbeaten in conference play at 7-0. The Red Barons drop to 8-13 overall and 3-5 against MSAC opponents.

Reigning Region III Player of the Week
Brittany Anderson led the charge with 21 points while
Alisia Griffin finished with a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the win.Â
Melissa Bakowski and
Autumn Gavin each added eight points for Onondaga.
As a team, the Lazers accounted for 25 steals in all.Â
Samantha Roberts led the charge with a career-high six steals along with 10 assists while
Emiko Powell and Anderson each collected five swipes.

The Lazers will go for their 10th win in a row at 5 p.m. on Tuesday when they face SUNY Broome in the SRC Arena and Events Center. Anyone in attendance could win an opportunity to shoot for $5,000.
