The Lazer men's and women's lacrosse and men's tennis teams received an energy filled sendoff today at a pep rally held in conjunction with Onondaga's annual Party on the Quad event. All three teams will head to the NJCAA National Championship Tournaments for their respective sports this weekend, and a large crowd of students, staff, and well wishers turned out to show their support.

The men's lacrosse National Tournament will be held in Garden City, NY, on the campus of Nassau Community College. The Lazers will play Anne Arundel Community College in Saturday's 1:00 pm semi-final, with the winner advancing to Sunday's 1:00 pm championship game. Onondaga will be seeking its 6th consecutive and 8th overall men's lacrosse national championship.
The women's lacrosse National Tournament will be held at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, MD, on Saturday and Sunday. The Lazers will face host Anne Arundel in a semi-final contest Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm. The championship game will be played Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm. The Lazers are seeking their 3rd women's lacrosse national title.
The men's tennis National Tournament will be held next Monday through Thursday at Collin College in Plano, TX. Flighted play begins on Monday mornig, and continues through Thursday's main draw finals. The Lazers are making their 19th National Championship appearance, having won the national title in 2008.
The Lazer baseball, softball, and men's golf teams will be competing in their respective regional tournaments over the next week, hoping to advance to their national championships as well.
