Syracuse, NY - After being named Men's Cross Country and Track & Field's Student-Athlete of the Year two years running,
Onondaga's Paul Clark was named as the 2025-26 SUNY Male Student-Athlete of the Year among all NJCAA institutions.
Paul Clark is the NJCAA Division III National Champion in Men's Cross Country for 2025. He took first place in the snowy meet taking place in Fort Dodge, Iowa with a time of 26.50.0 in the 8k race (5.23.8 mile pace). Paul was the front runner all season long taking first at the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship as well as the Region 3 Championship, making him the first 2x Champion in 17 years in all of Region 3.
For the indoor track season, he was one of two athletes to compete at the indoor national meet for the first time in program history. For the outdoor season, he earned All-American honors with a third-place finish and school record at nationals in the 4x800m. He also finished fourth in the 1500m.
Not only was he the standout athlete on the course and the track, but he was named to the NJCAA's Third Team All-Academic team. The business major received his degree this past May from Onondaga Community College with honors. He is furthering his education and athletic career at Lemoyne College.
