Box Score Binghamton, NY - The Onondaga Community College women's basketball team was up by 4 points (33-29) with 7:28 remaining in the first half against Broome County College on the road in Binghamton on Tuesday night before going on a 22-6 run to close the half with a 55-35 lead. The #2-nationally ranked Lady Lazers extended its lead in the second half on its way to a 101-63 win to remain undefeated (10-0) in Mid State Athletic Conference play.
Onondaga was paced in scoring by
Lauren Roy (Bishop Ludden) with 18 points including a perfect 6 for 6 from the foul line while
Amanda Marcely (Bishop Grimes) recorded her sixth double-double of the year with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Allie Taylor (Hannibal) had 13 points while
Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) and
Alisia Griffin (Geneva) scored 11 and 10 points respectively. Randi Conway had 19 points in a losing effort for Broome.
Onondaga is now set to square off with Jefferson Community College (9-1 in the MSA) for the conference title on Saturday, February 8 at 1pm in the SRC Arena on the OCC campus.
