In the opening round of pool play, Onondaga would have its hands full as they took on the nationally-ranked Tribunes to begin the 2014 championship.
After falling in the first two frames by an identical score, 25-16, the Lazers would hand No. 8 Monroe its first set loss of the afternoon, 25-19, but it wouldn't prove to be enough as the Tribunes earned the advantage after posting two wins in three attempts.

MATCH TWO: Onondaga: 0, Jamestown: 3

The Lazers were able to control the pace early, but couldn't overcome a late run as Onondaga would fall to Jamestown 25-20, 25-20, 25-15 en route to a straight-set loss.

For the second consecutive match, Krak reached double-digits in kills with 10 and Jessica Cost dished out 18 assists.  Isabella WInklestine collected four kills while Najah Amica turned away three attacks.

MATCH THREE: Onondaga: 0, Niagara County: 3

In its final match in pool play, Onondaga found itself a 1-0 hole after losing the first set, 25-19.  The Lazers would regroup in the second set, however, and nearly evened the contest at one set apiece before the Thunder Wolves would lock down the win, 27-25.

Niagara County would go one to blank the Lazers after stealing the third and final set, 25-20.
