Box Score Syracuse, NY - The Onondaga Community College women's basketball team (11-1) used a swarming defense and a balanced scoring attack to down visiting Herkimer County Community College 94-56 at the Allyn Hall Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

The #2 nationally-ranked Lady Lazers jumped out to an early  20-2 lead and weren't threatened for the remainder of the game.  Onondaga - who leads the nation in scoring average at over 87 points per game - placed six players in double figures.  Brittany Anderson (MynderseAcademy) (13 points), Amanda Marcely (Bishop Grimes) (12), Kayla Kibling (Bishop Ludden) (11), Lauren Roy (Bishop Ludden) (11), Allie Taylor  (Hannibal) (11), and Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) (10) led the offense that also made 10 shots from beyond the 3-point arc.

Onondaga will be traveling to Florida during the winter break for three games against NJCAA Division I competition beginning December 30 and will be returning home to resume regional action on January 7 against Cayuga Community College.
