Erik Mattox was hired to the OCC Men's Lacrosse staff in 2024 prior to coaching the Women's Lacrosse program for three seasons, leading them to an Invitational Championship in 2024.
Mattox, a Syracuse Native, played lacrosse at Nottingham High School and played for the Lazers under OCC Legend Chuck Wilbur.
Prior to OCC, Mattox was the head coach of the Women's Lacrosse team at Cazenovia College, where he lead them to their only NCAA playoff appearance after winning the NEAC Championship. Mattox has coached club lacrosse for over a decade in the upstate area.
Mattox and his wife Jenna, have three children Aliyah, Micah, and Marleigh.
