Onondaga Community College

Vincent (Vinny) is a freshman at Onondaga majoring in Adolescent Education, specializing in Biology., He was born and raised in his hometown of Valkenburg in The, Netherlands (Holland) and graduated from high school - St. Maartenscollege in Maastricht, (The Netherlands)., He is tri-lingual and moved to Syracuse in 2014 to join his family here. He started playing tennis 3.5 years ago in 2011 when he started college in Nijmegen (HAN University of Applied Science) and signed up for the city's student club in 2012. A year after signing up he started participating in tournaments, which helped him improve his game. In 2014 he started getting some good results, ending in second place in several local tournaments and ending in third/fourth place in the National Student Championship in first singles, second place in doubles and first place in another singles position. That year he also won the club championship in his singles position. He hopes to improve a lot during his time here at Onondaga and looks forward to contributing to the team.
