Onondaga Community College

Darren played tennis for Coach Alan Benson at Highland High School and also took private lessons with numerous coaches throughout his short but rising tennis career.  Darren has been playing tennis since the eighth grade.  After playing doubles in his freshman year, he was the first and second singles player from his sophomore year through his senior year also serving as captain his last three years.  Compiling a winning record throughout his high school career and USTA career, he hopes to take his game to the next level at Onondaga and then become a part of a Division I tennis team.  Darren hopes to be one of the leaders of the tennis team this year and help the team in any way to key victories in the regular season as well as Regionals and/or Nationals.  Outside of tennis, Darren is a Resident Assistant and is also the Vice-President of Entertainment and Programming in the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement.  Darren is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Alpha Phi.
