Onondaga Community College

Corey Fonseca was appointed Head Coach in May 2015 after serving the previous three seasons as an assistant. During his time at Onondaga he has helped guide the team to regional tournament appearances in each of his five seasons, and has compiled an overall record of 22-11-2 since taking over the program.

Before Onondaga, coach Fonseca spent three seasons with the SUNY Cortland men’s soccer team, as a student assistant, and later as an assistant coach.  In this time, he helped them to the 2010 SUNYAC championship and a bid to the DIII NCAA tournament.

Coach Fonseca is currently the director of Soccer Shots Syracuse and serves as Assistant Coach for Syracuse FC.  Fonseca holds the Advanced National, and National diploma’s from the NSCAA, and also attained his M.S. from the United States Sports Academy in 2012.  Corey currently resides in Bridgeport, NY with his wife and daughter.
