Biography

Michael was born in California and grew up in Sodus, New York. He attended and graduated from Sodus High School in 2012.  He first started playing tennis in 7th grade thanks to the support from his grandparents John and Judy Hino.  It was not until his freshman year at OCC that he developed a real passion for the sport.  Since then he won 2nd place at the Region III tournament at the 5th singles position and 1st place for 3rd doubles.  He won the backdraw at the National tournament and also made it to the semifinals for 3rd doubles.  He is looking forward to this season with an already winning record and hopes to continue playing collegiate tennis after transferring to the next university.
