Onondaga welcomes its' newest head coach of the Competitive Cheer Program, Ginny Marasco.

Marasco brings decades of experience to OCC with time spent as a judge and coach. She has spent time as a NYS and All-Star Judge, Head Coach at Chittenango High School, worked with Chenango Cougar All-Star program, and was heavily involved with the Pop Warner Little Scholars. 
 
"I have been involved in cheer since I coached my first Pop Warner team a whole lot of years ago.  The sport we see today has evolved in so many ways since then and I like to think I have not only kept up but been an active participant in its growth.  I have never missed an opportunity to continue to grow and educate myself in those changes and share my passion for not only this sport but the many life lessons we can take from our participation."

She remains active on the regional & national level of Pop Warner Little Scholars as well as high school cheer. She is also a certified New York State High School certified cheer judge and spend some of her spare time judging around the state.
