Syracuse, NY - The men hosted SUNY Adirondack this weekend taking a 5-4 win over the Timberwolves in a very high action game. The win moves the men to 5-0-2 on the season.

The Lazers were first on the board thanks to Oleksandr Matyiuk's first career goal. Adirondack's response would tie it up then put them in the lead in the 21st minute scoring two in a row. Faisal Samim tied it back up at 2-2 on an assist from Tyler Wavercak. With 9:39 remaining in the first half, the Timberwolves took the lead again solidifying a 3-2 score headed into halftime. An Adirondack corner kick 2 minutes into the second half led to their 4th goal of the day and brought the Lazers to trail by their biggest deficit of the day. Ewan O'Dwyer-Hall cut the deficit in half bringing it to 4-2 on a penalty kick in the 49th minute. Just a short minute later would come Samim's second goal of the day on another assist from Wavercak to tie it back up 4-4 with 39 minutes remaining. The deciding goal in the offense heavy match would come from OCC's Josiah Rogatti from Kyle Partington in the 68th minute giving Onondaga the edge. A critical save from OCC's goalkeeper, Olivier Bienvenu, with 14 minutes remaining contributed to the win.

The men are in a great spot to host the strong Mohawk Valley Hawks this Wednesday, September 18th at 6:30pm on Wilbur Field as they'll look to defeat the No. 2 ranked program.
