Syracuse, NY - The men kicked off at 3:30pm on Wilbur Field against the Jayhawks this weekend looking to move to 3-0.
Kyle Partington put the Lazers on top early on with a deep shot on the Jamestown goalie on an assist from
Johann Bratge. The Jayhawks put up the first goal of the second half to tie it up. After a physical ten minutes, Bratge found net on an assist from
Samuel Gregson giving the Lazers back the lead with 30 minutes to go.
Holding the Jayhawks scoreless until 4:48 remaining, the Lazers gave up the tying goal for a 2-2 score and little time to take back their lead and what would end in a tie moving to a 2-0-1 record.
The Lazers will look for another win tomorrow at North Country Community College after the women.
