Chatauqua, NY - To close out the 2023 NJCAA Division III Men's Golf Nationals Championships, Onondaga held strong to finish sixth in the country out of the 11 qualified teams. The Lazers shot a team score of 325 to shoot a 4-round score of 1290. Finishing in sixth place and shooting a 4-round score of 1290 are both program bests at the NJCAA National Championship.
OCC was led by Julian Galletta who shot rounds of 76, 78, 72 and 72 for a total of 298 to finish in 10th place overall individually and earned All-American honors for finishing in the top 18.
Following Julian was Billy Guild in 34th place with rounds of 84, 77, 79 and 83. Daniel Angelo finished with rounds of 86, 78, 85 and 86 to finish in 40th place. Mason Ellis finished in 49th place with rounds of 82, 83, 86 and 90. Dante Cassella finished in 51st place with rounds of 85, 85, 89 and 84. Not competing was Kobe Myers due to injury.
