Johnstown, NY - The men took on the No. Fulton-Montgomery Raiders on their home field for the Regional Semi-final. The two teams met on October 7th where the Raiders took a 3-2 victory over the Lazers. The Lazers brought it to them this time with a season ending on the line, taking a 3-0 victory and a spot in the Pool A Region III Championship.
The Lazers came out hot wasting no time getting on the board in the first 6 minutes on a goal from
Ewan O'Dwyer-Hall. The Lazer defense held the Raiders scoreless in the first half. Needing some insurance,
Jack Hopson put the Lazers up 2-0 in the second half and
Faisal Samim put the nail in the coffin for the Lazers' final goal, taking the 3-0 victory.
The men will travel to Herkimer Community College this Sunday, October 29th for a 3:30pm kickoff against the No. 1 seed, Mohawk Valley for the Regional Championship.
