Syracuse, NY- For the first time since October 24, 2019 the Lazers' men's soccer team walked off Wilbur Field victorious with a 3-0 win against SUNY ESF to take the King of the Hill Cup for the 3rd season in a row.
The first points of the season came in the form of a penalty kick from
David Bosak which put the Lazers up 1-0 at the half.Â
The Lazers came out of halftime strong with a goal from
Caio Hughes in the opening minutes and then stretched the lead even further whenÂ
Francisco Costa scored the team's final goal off an assist from
Adam Webster. Â
The Lazers will be back in action Saturday, September 4th, when both the women's and men's soccer teams face off against Niagara Community College at 1:00pm/3:30pm respectively.Â
