The Onondaga women's lacrosse team defeated Monroe, 15-7, on Sunday in the Region III Championship game. This is the 2^nd time OCC has won the Region III championship for women's lacrosse, and the first time since 2010. With the win Onondaga moves to 10-1 on the year and enters the national tournament as the number two seed. Onondaga looks to avenge an early season loss to Harford Community College. The national tournament will be held at Harford Community College on Saturday May, 18th and Sunday May 19th.
