The Onondaga men's soccer team defeated Corning Community College on Wednesday night 7-0. With the win, the Lazers extend their win streak to six. The Lazers are now 6-2-0 overall and 3-0-0 in the MSAC and 5-1-0 Regional play.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Dylan Bridger recorded the first goal of the game with the assist coming Joe Gardner.
• Hunter Rutty and Lucas Sparrow netted goals two and three. Alec Stasyuk registered assists for both goals.
• Minutes later the Lazers struck again when Liam Raaen scored his second goal of the season to make it 4-0.
• Joe Gardner capped off the first half scoring with his first goal of the game and second of the season.
• The Lazers took a 5-0 lead into halftime.
• Onondaga continued their strong offensive play in the second half.
• Hunter Rutty scored the first goal of the second half. Rutty's goal was his second of the game and team high sixth of the season.
• Juma Hassein sealed the win for the Lazers scoring his first goal of the season.
• The Hassein goal came off the foot of Hassan Aden.

Onondaga continues MSAC play on Saturday when they travel to Tompkins Cortland for a 2:30 p.m match.
