The Onondaga men's soccer team defeated Mohawk Valley Community College on Wednesday night 7-0. With the win, the Lazers are now 9-4-0 overall and 4-2-0 in the MSAC and 8-3-0 Regional play.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Hunter Rutty recorded the first goal of the game with the assist coming from Alec Stasyuk.
• Lucas Sparrow and Vianey Botame netted goals two and three. Jean Claude Rukundo assisted the Sparrow goal and Sparrow assisted the Botame goal. 
• Lazers struck again when Hunter Rutty scored his second goal of the game to make it 4-0. The goal was assisted by Jean Claude Rukundo.
• Liam Raaen scored his third goal of the season off the assist from Manuel Silva. 
• Abdirashid Abdi made it 6-0 when he netted the pass off of Joe Gardner.  
• Brian Myers sealed the win for the Lazers scoring his first goal of the season.
• The Myers goal came off the foot of Abdirashid Abdi.

Onondaga returns to action on Saturday, October 13^th when they travel to Hudson Valley Community College for a 3:00 p.m match.
