Onondaga Men's Tennis defeated SUNY Broome, 8-1, on Wednesday afternoon at Anthony J. Santaro Park. The Lazers were led by four double-winners,
Fabrizio Tucci,
Sacha Borel,
Eric Day, and
Ryan Charlebois.

Fabrizio Tucci defeated Ben Gonzalez 6-1 in the first set of first singles, and narrowly took the second set 6-4.
Sacha Borel made quick work of his opponent in second-singles, winning 6-0 in both sets. Tucci and Borel teamed up in first-doubles and shutout their opponents 8-0.

Eric Day took down his opponent 6-1 in both sets of third-singles, and
Ryan Charlebois dominated his matchup 6-1 and 6-0. Day and Charlebois competed in second-doubles together. The duo took a quick 5-0 lead before Broome began their comeback. The Hornets were able to cut the lead to 7-4, but Day and Charlebois were able to close out the match for the win.

Hunter Mazuroski had an early 3-0 advantage in the first set when Sidney Snpad fought back to narrow Mazuroski's lead to 4-3. Mazuroski then found his stroke, keeping Snpad scoreless through the rest of the first set and commanding the second set 6-1.
Matt Copani went point-for-point through two sets of his matchup in sixth-singles, taking the first set 6-4 and losing the second 6-4. Copani then ruled the tie-breaking third set, 10-4, for the Lazers to sweep singles. Mazuroski and Copani wrapped up the day in third-doubles, losing the suspenseful matchup 9-8.

The Lazers will visit SUNY Broome next week in Binghamton on April, 25th for a 4pm start.Â
