Box Score Onondaga Lazers defeated visiting Corning Community College 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Red Barons defense held the explosive Lazers offense scoreless through the first half despite Onondaga's ten shots on net.

Yahiya Donzo scored to start off the second half and put the Lazers ahead 1-0. Onondaga's game winning goal came in the 70^th minute of the game off the foot of Jerome Ntakirutimana.

The Lazers defense, led by veterans Michael Robinson and Kyle Johnson, held Corning to just three shots on the game, but gave up a late goal to Jose Garcia. Onondaga sustained the lead and earned their sixth win of the season.

Onondaga visits Tompkins Cortland Community College on Saturday. Kickoff is at 2:30pm
