Nick Bitz, trying for his 3rd goal of the night, calls for the ball
Lazers offense turned it up in the second half to defeat Jefferson Community College 4-1 on Wednesday evening at David W. Murphy field.
Hassan Musa scored first for the Lazers with the assist off of
Abdikarim Maalo. Jefferson's Tim Irwin quickly responded with a goal of his own to tie the game 1-1 to end the first half of play.
The Lazers game winning goal was scored in the 64
th minute of the game off a monster shot from 25 yards out by veteran defender
Michael Robinson (see video in headline photo). Freshman forward
Nick Bitz then took the insurance goals into his own feet as he scored his first and second colligate goals within 30 seconds of one another to defeat the Cannoneers 4-1. Â
Onondaga travels to Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday for a 3:30pm start.
