Lazers are defeated in home-opener

Onondaga Women's Tennis was swept by SUNY Broome, 9-0, at Anthony Santaro Memorial Park on Tuesday.

Jessica Hodell, Alyssa Wall, Brianna Braga, Lora Gould, Juliane Copes-Banks and Ghofran Abdulmueen lost at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles respectively. The strongest showing of the evening came from Ghofran Abdulmueen falling 6-2 in 6 singles and again falling 8-2 in 3 doubles with Maisam Al Janabi.

The Lazers host Mohawk Valley Community College this Thursday at 4pm
