Onondaga defeated Clinton Community College 3-1 on a cold and wet Saturday evening at David W. Murphy Field.
 
Anmol Rai scored two goals in his Sophomore Game, including the game-winner. The Lazers got on the board in the first eight minutes of the game when Karebo Wilson placed a perfect pass to the front of the net for Anmol Rai to tap in past the Cougar's keeper (15 saves). Four minutes later Hassan Musa crossed a ball from the right side of the field for Anmol Rai to deflect behind his back and into the net for the game-winning goal. Hassan Musa added an insurance goal in the final fourteen minutes of the first half, his eleventh of the year.
 
Clinton's lone goal was scored in the final two minutes of the game by Ben Frederick.
 
With the win, Onondaga secured the 6th seed in the NJCAA Region III playoffs. The Lazers will travel to SUNY Broome on Wednesday, October 26^th.   The official start time will be posted on the Lazers schedule as soon as possible.
