The Onondaga Community College women's tennis team picked up its first win of the season on Saturday, defeating the reigning Region III champion, Hudson Valley Community College, 7-2 at the YMCA in Manlius.
 
Holly Glor earned a point at third singles while Madison Perkins posted a win at fourth singles.  Haley Everts registered a point at fifth singles after winning 10-0 and Rachel Parrillo remained undefeated on the young season after blanking her opponent at sixth singles.
 
The Lazers swept all three points in doubles action with Glor and Perkins winning at first doubles while Kaitlin Ferrara and Faith Montgomery took their second doubles pairing.  Onondaga would claim the match's final point when Parrillo and Everts won at third doubles.
 
Onondaga (1-1) will return to the court at 3 p.m. on Saturday when it travels to SUNY Delhi.
