The Lazers jumped out to an early lead after
Gerardo Ramirez broke a scoreless tie on a pass from
Ben Jackson to give the Lazers the 1-0 lead in the process.

Onondaga's lead would hold until Jamestown scored the equalizer early in the second stanza.

As the game wore on, both teams were up to the task on the defensive end as neither offense was able to find any daylight.

The Lazers had an opportunity in the opening overtime period to seal the victory, but Jamestown held the visitors off the scoreboard until the second overtime frame when Kpolo broke free and ripped a shot into the back of the net to give Onondaga the win.

The Lazers, now 3-3 overall, will test their mettle at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday when they host MSAC for Jefferson Community College at David W. Murphy Field.
