Matthew Bennett of the Onondaga Community College men’s lacrosse team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Lazers to a 1-0 week.

In Onondaga’s lone game of the week against second-ranked Genesee Community College, returning Junior College Offensive Player of the Year Matthew Bennett tallied four goals and one assist in the Lazers 15-10 win Saturday afternoon at David W. Murphy field. In five games this season, Bennett leads the team with 21 points on 10 goals and a team-high 11 assists.
