Sophomore catcher Paul Fitzgibbons of the Onondaga Community College baseball team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Lazers to a 6-2 record the week ending on May 8.

Fitzgibbons played in all eight games for the Lazers going 9-17 (.529) from the plate with 8 RBIs, 9 runs scored, 2 doubles and 9 walks for a .692 on-base percentage. Fitzgibbons best game came against Erie Community College on May 7 when he went 3-4 with three runs scored, two RBIs and a walk.
