Emily Clapper of the Onondaga Community College softball team has been named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Lazers to a 6-2 record the week of April 18th – April 24th.

Clapper went 16-29 (.552), scored 11 runs, and collected 5 RBI’s, 2 doubles and 2 triples on the week. She recorded multiple hits in six games and went 4-5 with a double, 2 RBI’s, 2 runs scored and a stolen base against Tomkins Cortland Community College on April 23rd. Clapper currently has a 12 game hitting streak and has at least one hit in 20 of her last 21 games played.
